Frequently Asked Questions

1. Must I always use the online ordering system?

No, if you are uncomfortable with the online system, please call the office at 908-277-3700, and a staff member will be happy to help you obtain a Mass intention and Mass card.

2. What if the Mass I want is not colored in teal and seems to be unavailable?

If the Mass is not colored in the teal color, it is most likely unavailable.  Please choose another date/time for your intention.

3. Will I be able to get an actual Mass card if I use the online ordering system?

Yes. Indicate if you would like the card mailed to you or someone else, or if you would like to pick up the card.  Use the “Notes” section to pass along any special information.

4. Will I be able to pick up the Mass card the same day?

Yes, if you order the card prior to the close of business, we can leave the card in the pickup box which is located at the front door of the parish office.

5. How many Mass intentions are accepted for each Mass?

Only one intention is offered per Mass. However, there are two Masses offered per month for multiple intentions: the 8:30 AM Mass on the first and last Saturdays of each month.

6. How many Mass intentions may I purchase per year?

Each person may purchase three Mass intentions per year during the first month of opening the book.  After that, additional intentions are allowed.

7. May I make a donation online while purchasing my Mass intention?

Yes. Add the additional donation amount to the total and make a notation in the “Notes” section.

8. Is the credit card information I use for the payment of the Mass Intention stored on your system and what is the security for it?

The credit card information is encrypted and is never stored using this system.  No one at the parish or with the company used for this process will ever see the card information -- it is used for the one-time purchase.   It is not stored on our site or their site in any way. In fact, we do not even have access to the information you submit.  Card Connect processes the transaction and uses a PCI-validated (Payment Card Industry) point-to-point encryption, which protects every transaction by encrypting the credit card data at the point-of-sale, through its full lifecycle.  It is as safe as any other online transaction.

9. What if I have trouble while trying to order a Mass intention online?

Please call the office at 908-277-3700.
