Scope of the Church Organ Project

The organ is central to the worship life of our parish. We are now faced with several long-term maintenance updates required for the organ to be played to its potential.

The leather valves under the pipes are reaching the end of their material life and should be removed, cleaned and restored, the estimated cost is $185,000.

The swell shade expression motors are not operating effectively and should be replaced, the cost is estimated at $5,800.

The digital organ sound system was last updated in the 1990’s and should be replaced, the estimated cost is $85,500.

Planned Giving
St Teresa of Avila Legacy Fund
Aiming to secure the sustainability of parish ministries and outreach programs, the Legacy Fund provides funding for parish specific endeavors such as outreach programs, maintaining our buildings and enhancing ministries. The Legacy Fund is a restricted fund, in that 100% of the contributions received directly support St Teresa of Avila and are not subject to an Archdiocesan assessment or any other tax.
We ask ALL parishioners to consider supporting the Fund. There are no minimum donations or bequests. Methods of support include: (1) gifts of cash or stock; (2) land or buildings; (3) modification of wills and trusts to include the Legacy Fund in estate documents; (4) beneficiary designation of life insurance or IRA accounts; (5) advanced planning strategies, including qualified charitable distributions (QCD) and donor-advised funds (DAF). The Finance Council, in conjunction with the Pastor annually determines what restricted projects are the beneficiaries of the Legacy Fund.
