Lenten Sacred Music Series
Lent invites us into a quieter, deeper place—a season of repentance, renewal, and renewed trust in God’s mercy. It is a time to step away from the noise and return to what truly matters: our relationship with Christ. Music has a unique way of opening the heart, giving voice to prayer when words feel insufficient. These weekly Lenten music videos are offered as simple moments of reflection—an opportunity to pause, to breathe, and to let the message of each song lead us closer to the Cross and the promise of Easter. Sing with us, listen with us, and meditate on the words our music ministers have lovingly prepared.

For the fourth week of Lent...
What a Beautiful Name
Sung by Marianna Terrezza with Joseph Legaspi, accompanying
“What a Beautiful Name” is a bold proclamation of the power and majesty of Jesus’ name. In Lent, as we journey toward the Cross, this song reminds us that the One who humbled Himself unto death is also the risen Lord whose name brings hope, mercy, and salvation. It invites us to surrender our pride, lay down our burdens, and trust in the victory of Christ—a victory born not of force, but of sacrificial love.
For the third week of Lent...
On the Willows
(From Godspell)
Sung by John Zisa with Paulo K Tiról, accompanying
“On the Willows” echoes the sorrow of exile and longing, inspired by Psalm 137. In Lent, it becomes a haunting prayer of waiting—standing at the edge of Holy Week, sensing both the weight of betrayal and the nearness of redemption. The melody carries a quiet ache, reminding us of our own moments of distance from God, yet also inviting us to remain faithful in hope. Even in sorrow, we trust that God is still at work, preparing the way to resurrection.
For the second week of Lent...
How Beautiful
Sung by Zoë Schumann with Joseph Legaspi, accompanying
“How Beautiful” is a quiet meditation on the gift of Jesus in the Eucharist and the beauty of His self-giving love. In Lent, it helps us slow down and gaze again at what we so easily take for granted: Christ who offers Himself for us—broken, poured out, and present. As we turn away from sin and back toward God, this song becomes a prayer of gratitude and reverence, drawing us to the altar with renewed humility, wonder, and a desire to love as He loves.
For the first week of Lent...
Goodness of God
Sung by Sarah Lucero with Joseph Legaspi, accompanying
“Goodness of God” is a gentle but powerful reminder that even in the penitential season of Lent, we are never walking alone. As we examine our hearts, repent, and journey toward the Cross, this song calls us to remember God’s steady faithfulness—how He has carried us through every valley and never let go. Lent is not only about sacrifice; it is about trust. In moments of weakness, doubt, or weariness, we cling to the truth that His goodness is still running after us, inviting us to deeper surrender and renewed hope in Christ.
Stay tuned for a new video released each week!
