Godparents

The Sacrament of Baptism requires at least one sponsor (or godparent) for each baptized person.

Each sponsor must meet the following requirements:

(1) Be at least 16 years old;

(2) Have received Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation;

(3) Live a life in harmony with the Church.

(4) Regularly attend Mass and support the Parish

 

Have your sponsor complete a sponsor form below if they are a registered parishioner at St Teresa of Avila.

If they belong to another parish, they should call that parish to get a sponsor certificate to validate their position as a godparent for St Teresa's.
